Lighthouse are delighted to be working with the Fair Isle Bird Observatory Trust on this ambitious and unique project. The previous building was destroyed in 2019 by a tragic fire and Lighthouse have been appointed to design, build and deliver the new 1,250m2 building turnkey. We have had to ship modules from Grimsby to the Scottish islands and have battled unprecedented weather in the process. Notwithstanding this we are hoping to hand over the completed building to the Trust in 2023.
